Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Synopsis: When Marilla Cuthbert's brother, Matthew, returns home to Green Gables with a chatty redheaded orphan girl, Marilla exclaims, "But we asked for a boy. We have no use for a girl." It's not long, though, before the Cuthberts can't imagine how they could ever do without young Anne of Green Gables--Marilla says to Matthew, "One thing's for certain, no house that Anne's in will ever be dull."
Genres: Classic, Fiction, Humor, Adventure
Review: A wonderful Classic and delightful read about a spunky red-head. There is much fun and many wonderful lessons in this elegantly written novel. You'll have fun reading this and laughing along with Anne (with an E) and her adventures. A delightful classic girls of all ages with love.
