Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a great end to Christmas break! Haha. It's back to the books tomorrow. Yikes. Anyway, just a quick note to let you all know that I need to take a step back from the blog for a bit. Not like a haitus step, but just a step back. I'm behind on school-work and I just have some personal things going on that I need to work out.

I also took a challenge from my parents to read ZERO YA books for 3 months. (unless via special circumstances. ;) So I'm going to be out of the loop on those til April 4th. It feels so long, but I hope you guys can support me in this! Not to worry though. I still have plenty YA reviews that haven't happened yet. Haha. #fail

So yeah, I'll still have reviews and posts up, but not as often. Also, I'll still be around the internet to talk too, so I'm not leaving for good! No siree! I just need some more time to get all caught up on school. I've blogging be way to much of a distraction for me. A really fun one, but a distraction. Haha. So I'll see you all around the blogosphere!!! Happy schooling!

  1. Phew! I was worried there for a while! I thought you meant that you weren't going to be posting! Don't scare me like that!
Good luck with not reading any YA books for 3 months! I know I couldn't do it! You must have a lot of willpower to even consider trying!

  2. INKY! DON'T LEAVE ME. :''(

I'm glad that you'll be back in three months, though. How could you promise not to read any YA books for that long? I see a lot of movies in your future. And I will be reading your (unwritten) reviews. (:

  5. Okay, let's try this again. Stupid internet. At least you didn't get that attempted comment 4 times, I suppose....

  6. I LOVE YOU INKY!!! Don't you dare take a haitus. I can accept a step back, but a haitus will crack my skull. True story.

  7. I completely understand taking a step back. That's what I've done. What I found worked for me was to stop participating in anything but reviewing books I've read. I'll still occasionally be part of a tour or do a meme, but it's not very often. Also I deleted a ton of blogs from my reader so I didn't spend all day skimming blog posts that I didn't care that much about!!

Will you be posting reviews for adult books then?! That would be cool. Good luck with school and life things!

  9. No YA books for 3 months? But, but why???
Does this mean you get to read NA, kids and adult books or no books at all Will it be cheating if someone reads books to you?
Anyway, good luck on your school work and personal stuff. Blogging can be hard.

  10. Why would your parents not want you to read YA for three months? I hope they are not suggesting that you don't read. Because, umm...that's really unhealthy. Reading makes you smarter. If it's because your grades are falling or something, I understand. But if it's just because they don't want you reading? That's not exactly great parenting, IMO.

  11. I understand having to take a step back to focus on school. I hope that you will still be reading even if it's not YA. I think not reading at all would be horrible. I would never want my daughter to not read. I encourage her to read. I get not wanting it to interfere with school, but stopping completely seems a bit drastic. Sorry to hear that you are dealing with personal things too. Hope that everything works out and can't wait until you are back.

NORMALLY, I'd be all like "OMG HANNAH NOOOOOOOO." BUT, since I have cornered you on Gchat, and you're going to get more reviews then I AM ALL FOR THIS.

Actually, of course not ALL for something, but I totally get being behind on schoolwork and such! I hope that challenge works out good, and HEY! YOU CAN READ THE UNABRIDGED VERSION OF LES MIS WHILE YOU'RE ON YOUR CLASSICS-ONLY THINGY. RIGHT? RIGHT.

    *Awesome ideas*

Even though you probably already thought of it....
