So.....you may have noticed the sparesness of the blog lately. It's quite sad I know. Here's the deal. I'm a doing terribly at keeping up with school and all my reading and blogging. I've been insanely busy these past two weeks, making it harder for me to chug through the normal amount of books, leaving of course..less content for the blog.
But with a more relaxed schedule coming up..I'm hoping to get back on track! But if things are kinda sparse, I'm still here!! Love to all you awesome peeps. And if you ever wanna see more Inkyness, visit me on Wednesday over at YAvengers, where I'm a part of the epic writing initiative! But until then...here's a hug!
Happy Monday! Let me know what's up with you!! XOXO,

Today's post is a bit off topic. It all started on a Twitter conversation with the lovely Anna @ Sparkles & Lighting, and involved fangirling over hot guys. It led to talking about the seven deadly sins (aka Lust). Which led us to this conclusion...
...which led me to create that gorgeous button! Tehe! (Awesome right?) Okay okay I get it, you're wondering "Why do we say that?" and "How does that even work?" I'll tell you.
Greed - Staring at your bookshelf and STILL wanting more books to pile on that thing. Who cares if it's sagging over! MORE BOOKS.
Sloth - Forget about life, I've got a book. I think I'd rather lay in bed reading than write that history paper.
Gluttony - Um, I don't know about you but I LOVE to snack while I read. Namely, chocolate.
Pride - Staring at your beautiful bookshelves and wondering how you got so lucky.
Wrath - When publishers reject your heartfelt book request for that one book you want so desperately!
Envy - This has got to be the easiest. Can you say you haven't ever been a teensy bit jealous at the sight of other bloggers piles of books that you don't have?
Oh and you can totally spread this around! Post about it! Share the button on your sidebar! Tweet it? Talk about it! If you want to share the Button here's the HTML code for the image alone.
You can link up however you like. To me, Anna, yourself. Whatever. We'd love your help sharing this fun statement. HAPPY TUESDAY! XOXO,

Bloggers are the Seven Deadly Sins Reincarnated
...which led me to create that gorgeous button! Tehe! (Awesome right?) Okay okay I get it, you're wondering "Why do we say that?" and "How does that even work?" I'll tell you.
Reasons Why Bloggers ARE the Seven Deadly Sins:
Lust - FICTIONAL BOYS GALORE. Need I say more? How many of you can say you HAVEN'T swooned, or wanted to elope with a boy in a book? I thought so.Greed - Staring at your bookshelf and STILL wanting more books to pile on that thing. Who cares if it's sagging over! MORE BOOKS.
Sloth - Forget about life, I've got a book. I think I'd rather lay in bed reading than write that history paper.

************************************
Awesome right?! It totally works! In a way that feels natural and totally not deadly. Lol. But now I want to hear what you think!! Do you agree with my reasons for justifying this? Yay? Nay? Would you make any changes to the list? Are YOU a reincarnation of the 7 Deadlys? I am all the way. I won't lie.Oh and you can totally spread this around! Post about it! Share the button on your sidebar! Tweet it? Talk about it! If you want to share the Button here's the HTML code for the image alone.

Annabeth is terrified. Just when she’s about to be reunited with Percy—after six months of being apart, thanks to Hera—it looks like Camp Jupiter is preparing for war. As Annabeth and her friends Jason, Piper, and Leo fly in on the Argo II, she can’t blame the Roman demigods for thinking the ship is a Greek weapon. With its steaming bronze dragon masthead, Leo’s fantastical creation doesn’t appear friendly. Annabeth hopes that the sight of their praetor Jason on deck will reassure the Romans that the visitors from Camp Half-Blood are coming in peace.
And that’s only one of her worries. In her pocket Annabeth carries a gift from her mother that came with an unnerving demand: Follow the Mark of Athena. Avenge me. Annabeth already feels weighed down by the prophecy that will send seven demigods on a quest to find—and close— the Doors of Death. What more does Athena want from her? Annabeth’s biggest fear, though, is that Percy might have changed. What if he’s now attached to Roman ways? Does he still need his old friends? As the daughter of the goddess of war and wisdom, Annabeth knows she was born to be a leader, but never again does she want to be without Seaweed Brain by her side. Narrated by four different demigods, The Mark of Athena is an unforgettable journey across land and sea to Rome, where important discoveries, surprising sacrifices, and unspeakable horrors await. Climb aboard the Argo II, if you dare. . . .

Inky's Blurbings:
Okay so it's been about a month since I read this and I've had plenty of time to spazz and get over the awesomeness off it. So now I'm going to attempt to put it into a review.......... But unfortunatly the only way I can see that really happening is via GIFS. So GIF WARNING, there are a bajillion in this post. If you hate them, don't read them. Oh and also, you might find some new word combinations. Ready? Go...
When I saw the beautiful thick book on the shelf I was all like....
I mean who doesn't freakout at the sight of a huge thick book? I LOVE big books and I can't lie. I'm sorry guys, but I just had to be honest. MEEP! Okay so I saw the book. Then I BOUGHT it. I can home and was totally like...........

The world has meaning again.
GUYS, I was HOLDING a 600+ page book with the title reading: "Mark of Athena". Hello Heaven. I'd waited for this book for a year. I was home. *sniff* So I read. And read. And fell in love with Percy all over again. He is PERFECTION. Percy. Can. Do. No. Wrong. He's gone through so much character development that it's just incredible to see how he's come through. AND THEN Rick throws out some more character development in there and just when you think Percy can't get any better...He DOES!! He's amazing and with Annabeth they are LEGIT EPIC. Honestly. I was like this during ever Percabeth moment.....
Pretend I'm Annabeth................
Percy was genius. Making Rick Riordain a genius for inventing him. It's a fact of life. A universal truth. Get it? Got it? Good. I love him to death. But then we get a new perspective in this book that we have been waiting for for about 7 WHOLE BOOKS.
ANNABETH!!
Annabeth's has like this totally legit DNA code that is named: "Awesome-Sauce". Seriously. After waiting and waiting and sensing the awesome vibes coming from the girl we finally get it. And she is better than you think. I can't even think of descriptive words past EPIC. She is so strong in character, her thought process just bowls you over -sheesh girl you can THINK! -she's smart clever, funny and just so amazing. The character development that she goes through is incredible, and her quest is just made of EEEEEP! (Confession: It felt really short and almost too easy for Annabeth up till the end.) Seriously guys. Need i say more? I read so fast if only to get back to her chapters. I mean each chapter that had Annabeth's signo on it was like........That leaves me with one more narrative voice to address....PIPER.
But there were some other notable awesome characters that I feel deserve a completely random GIF for their awesome-tasticalness. Namely: Reyna, Hazel, Ella, Frank -YO MAN!- Coach Hedge, and ARGO. I hereby dedicate this GIF to your memory:
The action in this book was full of fun, great moves, smart strategies, and just epic demigods. I don't really think I have to say that it was another AWESOME plot full of reveleations, secrets, and Monsters. Not to mentions schizophrenic Olympians. Yikes! Other than the fact that the style seemed to start following that traditional pattern, I have to rock on to this FANTASTICAL story.
If you haven't been picking up the awesome vibes I've been sending your way, now's a good time to do that. I only have one topic left and it's the ending. Once again Riordan has CURSED given us another HORRIBLE shocking ending. Allow me to demonstrate.......
| My first reaction |
When the reality of the situation sunk in.....................
Trying to convince myself it didn't really happen.............
The very logical conclusion I finally ended on.....
I'm not going into detail because I try to keep my reviews Spoiler Free. Hence the GIFS, only way to share that. Just ****SOBBBBBBB*** My system has been thoroughly cleansed. I think. All I can do now is try and keep calm while I wait for HOUSE OF HADES next ---FREAKING--- October. GAH.
Content: Clean-Mild
(I consider it clean but there is some swearing on Olympian gods, and PERCABETH kisses! Maybe a light innuendo once or twice)
When 5 Stars are NOT ENOUGH.
You may be wondering why after all that sobbing, and piper hating, I'm rewarding this book so well. Honestly guys, even though the ending pretty much tore up my guts and threw them out the window, I have rarely felt SO many emotions and had such a ride before. It was PURE genius. In conclusion I leave you with one more GIF....

Hello fantastical people! I'm so happy to be back in the blog world even
though toughing it in the mountains was great. Hope you had a fantastic
weekend. Look for some great stuff coming later today and this week.
But for now, I've got a little fun to spread.....
Jessi @ Auntie Spinelli Reads (which is one FABULOUS blog) was so awesome and spotlighted me on her blog today! Go check out MY UNDERSEA SPOTLIGHT to learn a little bit about me. Here's a sneak peek question:
Where did you get the name for your blog?
Make sure you check that out and say hi to Jessi while you're at it. And because I love random fun, let's sidetrack from the blog/book world for a minute to have some Dora the Explorer time.....
With that said....yes I know that there are no words for what you just saw. But either way: ROCK ON and have a HAPPY AWESOME-TASTIC Tuesday!

Ugh. I was like 13 and so not into the blog world when I made the name
that I thought it was cool, but right now I'm really sick of it to tell
the truth. When I finally have time I'm going to have a complete
make-over. That is the day you'll all want to be my BFF for life. LOL.
But honestly I don't know where the title came from. My younger brain I
guess.

Forgotten by Cat Patrick
Each night at precisely
4:33 am, while sixteen-year-old London Lane is asleep, her memory of
that day is erased. In the morning, all she can "remember" are events
from her future. London is used to relying on reminder notes and a
trusted friend to get through the day, but things get complicated when a
new boy at school enters the picture. Luke Henry is not someone you'd
easily forget, yet try as she might, London can't find him in her
memories of things to come.

Hey everyone, I'm going to make this quick since it's really late, but I'm going to MOSTLY OFFLINE for the next week and a half. Why? First, I'm moving tomorrow and Saturday and we have to disconnect the internet. I might be on on Sunday if it's back up and running, if no you won't see me till Monday night or Tuesday, because I'm going out of town Monday. We have a family reunion.
Yes, TWO DAYS after we move. So anyway. I'll have internet on Tuesday and some of Monday but after that...maybe wednesday?......I'll be gone till Saturday, and then I'm going to be very on and off so just know that I won't be on everyday. There will be a lack of reviews until I get seriously caught up.
I'm sorry. I know I have like 6 waiting to be posted. Ack. My life is just one hectic mess. But anyway. To keep you busy while you wait for my posts...............
TNT! Happy Booking/Blogging!
