MAID OF SECRETS
Releasing: May 1, 2013 by Simon & Schuster

Seventeen-year-old Meg Fellowes is a wry, resourceful thief forced to join an elite group of female spies in Queen Elizabeth’s Court. There she must solve a murder, save the Crown, and resist the one thing that will become her greatest freedom–and her deadliest peril.

For Meg and her fellow spies are not alone in their pursuit of the murderer who stalks Windsor Castle. A young, mysterious Spanish courtier, Count Rafe de Martine, appears at every turn in the dark and scandal-filled corridors of the Queen’s summer palace. And though secrets and danger are Meg’s stock-in-trade, she’s never bargained on falling in love…

It was on a haitus for a while, but Lisseth from @ Read-A-Holicz recruited me and we're gonna be getting it up and running soon. So, it's with great excitement that Lisseth and I get to reveal the First Paparazzi Blog Tour of 2013! We're hoping this isn't also the last...

I can't even tell you how excited we are to be hosting this tour, the book is fantastic and we're super psyched to drag you guys into THREE WEEKS of awesome promotion and fun!! Here's a little bit about the book and author:

Stung by Bethany Wiggins
Release Date: 4.2.13
There is no cure for being stung. Fiona doesn’t remember going to sleep. But when she opens her eyes, she discovers her entire world has been altered—her house is abandoned and broken, and the entire neighborhood is barren and dead. Even stranger is the tattoo on her right hand—a black oval with five marks on either side—that she doesn’t remember getting but somehow knows she must cover at any cost. She’s right.

Those bearing the tattoo have turned into mindless, violent beasts that roam the streets and sewers, preying upon the unbranded while a select few live protected inside a fortress-like wall, their lives devoted to rebuilding society and killing all who bear the mark. Now Fiona has awakened branded, alone—and on the wrong side of the wall.

Bethany Wiggins
Bethany Wiggins has always been an avid reader, but not an avid student. Seriously!!! She failed ninth grade English because she read novels instead of doing her homework. In high school, she sat alone at lunch and read massive hardback fantasy novels (Tad Williams and Robert Jordan anyone?). It wasn't until the end of her senior year that the other students realized she was reading fiction--not the Bible.

Seven years ago, Bethany's sister dared her to start writing an hour a day until she completed a novel. Bethany wrote a seven-hundred page fantasy novel that she wisely let no one read--but it taught her how to write. Since then she has completed six more novels, each one a little better than the one before. The fifth book she wrote, "SHIFTING" is represented by Marlene Stringer of the Stringer Literary Agency and was published by Walked Book on Spetember 27, 2011!!! (Visualize happy dance (: )

So there you have it! That's the book we get to spam over the internet, and the author who is so lovely and thoughtful! We'd LOVE to have you on the tour if you're interested! All you have to do is fill out the form below, AFTER you have filled out the BOOK PAPARAZZI TOUR HOST FORM. So all you have to do is fill out the two mega awesome forms and we'll consider your blog for the tour!! STUNG
Releasing: April 2, 2013 by Walker Childrens

There is no cure for being stungFiona doesn’t remember going to sleep. Even stranger is the tattoo on her right hand—a black oval with five marks on either side—that she doesn’t remember getting but somehow knows she must cover at any cost. She’s right.

Why I'm Hyperventilating:
UM. WHAT THE HECK. It's a wasp. And a syringe on the cover. Say what?! I LOVED Bethany's first book Shifting, and I'm very curious to see where she is gonna go in her newest one, which is a TOTALLY different genre! It's gonna be snazzy and awesome. I forsee greatness. And it is a fact that the cover isn't your normal eye-candy. But it's mysterious and eludes lots of awesome things. WHEEEEEEEE! I can't wait!

What are you waiting on this week?

You guys I am so psyched about today! WHY?! It's time for another fabulous Giveaway Hop from Kathy @ I Am A Reader, Not A Writer! But you know what makes THIS ONE even better?!?!?! I'm Co-HOSTING! I'm so thrilled about this, and so grateful that Kathy was willing to do this with me! I've really been wanting to see a giveaway hop featuring historical novels and the like and so when one didn't show up last year, I brought the idea to Kathy. Being as awesome as she is, she agreed!
So together along with 100 other blogs, -ONE-HUNDRED OH MY GOSH!- we're bringing you lots and lots of fun, via Time Travel! More accurately, we're featuring time-travel books which can include traveling to the future or past. But it's also allowed to feature HISTORICAL books and/or FUTURISTIC books. So I've got a little bit of all three. All images below are linked to Goodreads. Please read the rules before entering the Rafflecopter down below! Have fun!
TIME TRAVEL
I love time-travel! It's fun, and it's a great way to get to know new places and times, while still having some of the norm. I've got some favorite series down below, along with a few that I'm excited to dive into! If you haven't heard of any of them, I'd check them out!

Wake (Watersong, #1)Lullaby (Watersong, #2)Croak (Croak, #1)The Crown of Embers (Fire and Thorns, #2)Breathe (Breathe, #1)Deity (Covenant, #3)The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten, #1)Wake (Watersong, #1)Lullaby (Watersong, #2)Croak (Croak, #1)The Crown of Embers (Fire and Thorns, #2)Such a RushBreathe (Breathe, #1)Deity (Covenant, #3)The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten, #1)Wake (Watersong, #1)Lullaby (Watersong, #2)Croak (Croak, #1)The Crown of Embers (Fire and Thorns, #2)Such a RushBreathe (Breathe, #1)Deity (Covenant, #3)The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten, #1)Wake (Watersong, #1)
HISTORICAL FICTION
Out of EVERY genre represented here...this one is my FAVORITE. I adore historical fiction. It's just so interesting to me, to learn about REAL things. Specially with a fun setting and romance on the side. I've got another awesome list of Historical Fiction, compiled from my favorites and suggestions from Twitter Peeps! Hope something catches your eye!

Lullaby (Watersong, #2)The Crown of Embers (Fire and Thorns, #2)Such a RushBreathe (Breathe, #1)Deity (Covenant, #3)The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten, #1)Lullaby (Watersong, #2)Croak (Croak, #1)
FUTURISTIC FICTION
This genre consists of a lot of Dystopian and sci-fi related things. But it's also totally fun to see how people image the world being in the future. If you notice, I've taken books that take OUR world envisioned in the future. Not some dystopian society living who who the heck knows where. These are some favorites and eagerly anticipated books so I hope something tickles your fancy!

The Crown of Embers (Fire and Thorns, #2)Such a RushBreathe (Breathe, #1)Deity (Covenant, #3)Breathe (Breathe, #1)The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten, #1)Lullaby (Watersong, #2)Croak (Croak, #1)The Crown of Embers (Fire and Thorns, #2)Such a RushBreathe (Breathe, #1)Deity (Covenant, #3)The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten, #1)Lullaby (Watersong, #2)Croak (Croak, #1)The Crown of Embers (Fire and Thorns, #2)
