Cheaper by the Dozen by Frank B. Gilbreth Jr.My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Synopsis: The riotous Gilbreth clan: a dozen red-haired, freckle-faced kids to contend with. Then there's Dad, a famous efficiency expert who believes a family can be run just like a factory. Finally there's Mother, his partner in everything except discipline. How they all survive such escapades as forgetting Frank Jr. in a roadside restaurant or going on a first date with Dad in the backseat or having their tonsils removed en masse will keep you in stitches. You can be sure they're not only cheaper, they're funnier by the dozen.
Genres: Biography, Auto-biography, Classic...
Review: This is a really great book. It is funny, told very well in an easy to read way, and it kept me turning pages till the end. (Always a good sign.) I could compare a little with Anne as the oldest of many siblings....not as many as her however I thouroughly enjoyed this. This should be read by all. It is a family fun book, and just a wholesome read full of lessons, family drama and humor. Very clean.

Betty Zane by Zane GreyMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Synopsis: Fort Henry is besieged by British rangers and Shawnee Indians, and this small group of settlers must make their valiant stand in one of the last battles of the American Revolution. Their only hope is heroic Betty Zane, who must run the gauntlet to retrieve the last keg of gunpowder--and save the fort.
Genres: Biography, Historical,
General Review: If you like old west this is the book for you. Betty Zane is a not so well known heroine of the Revolutionary War. I love the story of Betty Zane and so will you. She taught me to not be afraid of death. People may kill your body but they can't kill your soul. It was full of fun, suspense and very clean read. I gotta say I enjoyed it.
Content: Some Battles with descriptions of some of the things therein. Nothing else objectionable.
Overall: Enjoyable. Recommended for 12+
