Cheaper by the Dozen (Perennial Classics)Cheaper by the Dozen by Frank B. Gilbreth Jr.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Synopsis: The riotous Gilbreth clan: a dozen red-haired, freckle-faced kids to contend with. Then there's Dad, a famous efficiency expert who believes a family can be run just like a factory. Finally there's Mother, his partner in everything except discipline. How they all survive such escapades as forgetting Frank Jr. in a roadside restaurant or going on a first date with Dad in the backseat or having their tonsils removed en masse will keep you in stitches. You can be sure they're not only cheaper, they're funnier by the dozen.

Genres: Biography, Auto-biography, Classic...

Review: This is a really great book. It is funny, told very well in an easy to read way, and it kept me turning pages till the end. (Always a good sign.) I could compare a little with Anne as the oldest of many siblings....not as many as her however I thouroughly enjoyed this. This should be read by all. It is a family fun book, and just a wholesome read full of lessons, family drama and humor. Very clean.
