Rad Review: It would be an understatement to say I loved this book. TOTALLY EPIC people! I admit the first time the cover caught my eye I wasn't to impressed. It looked like some goth romance thing so I totally ignored it. Then it kept showing up. Darn you Goodreads Ads. :D But I will forgive you. So I finally went to the page and read what it was about...and so forth. I was hooked. Again, the ads continued. Drove me nuts. Into serious hyperventilation.
So when I found out it was released I hurriedly opened my library website and put the first hold on it. I got it from the library and finished it the next day. At 11:52pm. I was not going to go to bed until I finished. When you first hear the idea it's a little strange (except in my case it totally seemed awesome). But the world just...worked! Marissa did a fabulous job with it.
Kai. EEEP! The awesome thing about him was that not only was he hot but I really felt more about him. He wasn't just the "cute guy who the girl falls in love with". He felt like a real character. Cinder totally rocked as the MC, Loved it. Marissa's writing was great for a debut author. I think it can definitely improve as well. Plus somethings about the story telling could have been gone over more. But over all. Fabo. Welcome to the World Marissa. And Cinder. :D Can't wait to see what happens in Scarlet!
