Okay this is a new post I'll be doing every Monday, since there are always so many books I want and Waiting on Wednesday just doesn't come soon enough. Essentially I spotlight the books I'm super excited for that haven't come out yet. Ones that I'd kill (not really) to get an ARC of. I've got 3 for you today.

Pizza, Love and Other Stuff that Made Me Famous by Kathryn Williams
Can a spot on a teen reality show really lead to a scholarship at an elite cooking school AND a summer romance? Sixteen-year-old Sophie Nicolaides was practically raised in the kitchen of her family’s Italian-Greek restaurant, Taverna Ristorante. When her best friend, Alex, tries to convince her to audition for a new reality show, Teen Test Kitchen, Sophie is reluctant. But the prize includes a full scholarship to one of America's finest culinary schools and a summer in Napa, California, not to mention fame. Once on-set, Sophie immediately finds herself in the thick of the drama—including a secret burn book, cutthroat celebrity judges, and a very cute French chef. Sophie must figure out a way to survive all the heat and still stay true to herself.

I am such a nut for fun comedy books like this!!! I love lighthearted books that make you laugh. Especially if they have crazy awesome, silly titles like this. And super great covers. This book looks so FUN and I can't wait till it comes out....in a few months. Darn, I want to read this like NOW! Lucky for me it comes out soon after my birthday. Guess I know what I'm doing if I don't manage to swag an ARC somewhere.

Venom by Fiona Paul
Cassandra Caravello is one of Renaissance Venice’s lucky elite: with elegant gowns, sparkling jewels, her own lady’s maid, and a wealthy fiancĂ©, she has everything a girl could desire. Yet ever since her parents’ death, Cassandra has felt trapped, alone in a city of water, where the dark and labyrinthine canals whisper of escape. When Cass stumbles upon a murdered woman—practically in her own backyard—she’s drawn into a dangerous world of courtesans, killers, and secret societies. Soon, she finds herself falling for Falco, a mysterious artist with a mischievous grin... and a spectacular skill for trouble. Can Cassandra find the murderer, before he finds her? And will she stay true to her fiancĂ©, or succumb to her uncontrollable feelings for Falco?

Doesn't this look like an EPIC book to you? Sweet cover and synopsis. COVER LUST! I love YA Historical Novels. There are some really really awesome ones out there and this looks like it will be one of them! And I quote "Renaissance Venice". Am I the ONLY one hyperventilating right now?! I love anything Renaissance! What could be awesome than INTRIGUE in VENICE?!! Nothing right now. I have NO idea how I'm gonna be able to wait till October for this book. I might just try to get myself an ARC. If I can't.....well I'll be the first one in line at the Book Store.
