....BLOGOVERSARY!

It's been a fabulous year and I want to thank everybody for the awesome friendship and support! 

A Year In Review:

When I first started this blog I was young and naive to the world of blogging. It's true. It was really simple and I totally didn't know about all the cool memes and blogs I know about now. It honestly didn't start coming together till January of this year, so I would probably have to say that the beginning of the Book Haven you know now.

I've met a ton of new book bloggers, interviewed quite a few and met some really cool people and books! I've found so many treasures through the blogging community so I do not regret doing this. Thanks to everyone who has followed, shared, interviewed, commented, posted, and reviewed and thank you to the authors who have shared books with me!

Enough of that. I don't want to take for ever. Let's get to the good stuff. I don't blame you if you've skipped all the above. Now it's time to...

...Embrace My Inner Hobbit!

My favorite book ever is LORD OF THE RINGS by J.R.R. Tolkien and since I've been in the blogging world I've noticed that it's very common of bloggers to celebrate just as Hobbits do! Which is WAY cool. So I'm joining the steam and instead of making you all give me books, like a customary birthday, I'm GIVING AWAY books to two lucky winners. 

But we're missing one important piece of out Blogoversary celebration. A birthday can't be a birthday without cake or ice cream can it? NO. So a blogoversary can't be a blogoversary without those two delicacies either. Only one problem. I can't give you cake or ice cream. But I have a solution. Since I can't give you cake or ice cream I'll give you books. There are 2 lists. One for Cake and one Ice Cream! One winner per list. The list have a bunch of favorite reads from the last year or so. Many are reviewed on this blog. Ready?
