SummaryOne choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love. Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

In One Word: EPIC

My Thoughts: I pre-ordered this book maybe a few weeks before it was released. I literally freaked when it finally arrived, the day after it came out. I screamed and dance and just drifted in a haze of pure bliss. THEN did I start reading it. And boy was it good. Veronica lived up to my expectations and more! I NEED BOOK 3 NOW!

Before I get to carried away  let me try to express my thoughts. First off, some of you are aware of the phrase "Second-Book-Syndrome". This can be described as "more boring, useless romance twists, not enough action, etc." THIS BOOK DOES NOT SUFFER FROM SBS AT ALL. It's incredible. There is enough action to keep you on your toes, revelations that I didn't see coming, new twists and turns all packed into one incredible book.

I loved it all. I loved how well Tris was portrayed, after picking up straight from the end of Divergent. She's overcoming all these feelings of loss and personal struggles and Roth portrays that with incredible skill and accuracy. It felt realistic. She didn't just get over it. It stayed with her whole book as she heals more and more. Loved that. Tobias performed to the best. He was amazing as ever and I still can't get enough of him. *Swoon* The relationship between the two grows and changes even more as they learn about each other and struggle through hard times and it's just beautiful and awesome. WELL DONE VERONICA!

I just love her writing style and how it feels so different from so many that I have read. It's beautiful and I love it! I was just sucked in by Veronica's storytelling voice and I couldn't stop it was so good. Okay, I'm also gonna take a moment and burb on that cover. G. O. R. G. E. O. U. S. I love how each of the books so far has been protraying the faction symbols. WAY COOL. It's beautiful, creative and just eye candy all in one!

Honestly, I'm still stuck in that hyper-happiness stage that comes right after reading an AMAZING book you can't put down. If you haven't got this book yet. STOP reading this and GO GET THIS BOOK NOW. That amazing. I'm serious. Go on Amazon, or Barnes and Nobles. Anywhere! If you haven't read Divergent yet.... DROP EVERYTHING and run to the nearest bookstore.

I have said my piece. What did YOU think of Insurgent? Did it fulfill your expectations?

Content: Mild
((A slight scattering of language throughout, a few slightly passionate kissings scenes, mention of T&T sleeping next to each other or falling asleep together.))

Theories For The Next Book: I can't predict to much about where the plot will go with book three. But with the cliff-hanger that was this book, I feel a lot will be revealed especially after that drop. But I do have a guess as to the title. I think it will be called something like, Convergent! It's totally perfect.
